Where to get Genuine Honda parts without Dealership markup?

Lots of do-numbri in the market so wanted to ask fellow members here, if they can share info about trusted and established sellers of Genuine Honda parts in Lahore? Dealerships do quite a lot of markup, which does't make sense.

For common items like brake pads, dealers are more. For specific hardly bought small items like a specific seal, dealers are cheaper.

It will. But they most likely wont have it on hand, you have to order it which would take time. Montogmery road, as mentioned above, would be fine. There should be shops that have ready available stock.

How do I tell which part is real vs fake? I've heard there are sellers selling china parts in Honda packaging

You scan the QR code, it should match the part number written. The printing should be clear, no distortion, the red color should be equal (not uneven or faded). Genuine suspension parts will have paint.marker marks on it. I have seen blue, white, green, pink on various parts.

Is HondaHub on Montgomery road a reliable shop? He quoted me prices for two different types of parts, one he said were Genuine (Made in Japan), the other he said were Thai but said those also come in Honda packaging. My understanding was that Thai parts were typically RBi brand packaging?

For longevity of your purchased suspension parts make sure your mechanic knows how to tighten down bolts that pass through bushings.

If hes gorilla forcing dirty bolts on a hanging suspension then your new parts will become scrap within a week.

Honda has different vendors. The same Honda part can be made in thailand, japan, indonesia etc. RBI is a different thai based company. Dont know about the shop.

I would suggest to dive into the twisted world of Japanese OE supplier kairetzu

A part made by an OE for supply to production line is different than the genuine replacement being sold at the parts counter.

This issue is unique to Japanese and Korean origin cars yet, but not with any else.

What about ndestore.com? Spoke with them over phone and seemed decent and knowledgeable. Plus they're saying they source parts from OE manufacturers.
