Where to look for Honda Road Master in Karachi

Assalam-o-Allaikum,

I would like to know where to look for Honda Road Master CD-200 in Karachi. I mean there are not available in local markets, know a few mechanics who deal in CD-200 but not sure about their quality of work as far as the performance is concerned. Cosmetically they do a fine job... so if anyone around here knows a good and reliable CD-200 reseller/mechanic please let me know.

I had never been to that mechanic but always saw good number of CD200 under restoration and work -- The shop directions are:-

• Out from urdu bazar towards burns road the signal in front of the girls college take left.
• After getting on the road towards regal plaza electronics mkt... after Suzuki Bike dealer take 2nd left in the street.
• after entering the street there is mechanic shop on the right hand side under the appartment. -- if you go streight on this street you will enter the bike mkt or called akbar road.

As for their work I have no idea but they are pritty popular for CD200 -- Good Luck

Thanks a lot guys for your help. I am gonna check them out soon. Also is there anyone around who can shed some light on the pros & cons of 175/185 when compared to 200? As far as I know the market is low for 175/185, dont know the reason why but people disregard 175/185 totally. But after googling a bit it appears that 175 is far much better than 200 when it comes to performance. I enjoyed 5 different 200s so far. I am not much into racing and all that, I simply love a smooth good looking, durable classic bike.

Check on OLX for Farhan Rashid. I dont know about reliability but he has a number of bikes for sale.

Honda CD-175:
Honda CD-175 was in production from 1967-1979 which means Honda discontinued this model for over 34 years. Original Spares are really hard to source, thats why CD-175 have a very low resale value. Engine can be revamped with jugaar and make shift spares but if you want a tension free classic bike than ditch the plan for CD-175. Trust me.....I have one!

Honda CD-200:
However Honda CD-200 was in production from 1980-2004, so there is alot of spare in the scrap market and thats why CD-200 commands a higher resale value, infact you can still find brand new zero meter CD200 in dubai (2004 stock) for 11,000 DHS.

Honda CD-185:
CD-185 was in production from 1978-1980. Again this particular model is out of production for over 33 years. The good thing about CD-185 though is its spare compatibility to CD200. Therefore a CD185 can be completely revamped. As far as the engine of CD185 goes, it has a higher compression engine than CD200 which means more power but CD200 has a better fuel efficiency.

So if you can spent on a original CD200 then buy one or else CD185 is the next best thing.
