Where to pay car road tax in Lahore?

Hi guys,

I need to pay car road tax on my car and I am situated in Lahore. The address I have found on their website is

xcise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department
Government of the Punjab
2nd Floor, Transport House
11-Egerton Road, Lahore

This very far away from me. Are there any other locations where I can pay the car road tax? Any info will be much appreciated. Thank you.

There is one on Walton road for sure near toyota walton and I think one in Johar town somewhere too

It has been shifted from Walton to Z Block Phase 3 DHA. It's next to Coffee Planet.

u can contact some agent they will charge around 1K and rid u of this situation.

People need to stop using agents, and the police need to get rid of the nuisance of agents around these places.

Yes,
Agent culture needs to go away.

But sometimes theres no alternate, for instance, for those unable to go during office hours or abroad etc.

But systems need to be made simpler for this to happen.

I heard Punjab Excise is introducing online payment system for tokens.

not sure of exact timings, but 9-1pm should be a safe bet.

Engine capacity for first couple of years when this gen was launced was 1300cc, then after I believe it was reduced to below 1300cc, now its above it. For 1300cc exact, its for rs9500 non filer, filer is rs4500.

I went to this branch, and it was all quite easy and straight forward. The staff didn't show up until 9:30am, but otherwise, the process was very smootha nd there were hardly any people there.

Like maybe there were 6 people total there at 10AM.

I really expected a lot more rush, but I was very surprised at how empty it was.
