If you are into serious off-roading then go for the Land Rover Defender being manufactured in PAKISTAN. If that is expensive then you can opt for the Adam Boltoro

If you are looking for a luxury SUV then....

I saw and studied the Rexton a couple of days ago and I can safely say that the Rexton is the best value for money 4x4 in Pakistan.

If not the Rexton than my next vote goes to The new Hilux Vigo.

All other 4x4 just look like sissies.
All the Land Cruisers included.

4 wheeling should start from basics. Try and buy Suzuki Jeep any model, and then first play with it and then progress.

I personally prefer Hilux Surf SSR-G Turbo Intercooler.
Have been on serious off-roading on my Surf and at the same time comfortable SUV, it has proven it self to be on top of my off-roading/4x4 requirements.

I have judged it in a way that it has proven to be better off-roader as compare to Parado. And the stamp to this statement is that Racerf1 (Ashafaq Bahi) has recommended keeping it for my off-roading pleasure. No doubt Parado has a good re-sale value but we have to go for the performance and better 4X4.

I have also kept Willys MB, Willys M38 and CJ-5 for my Serious Off-Roading and very rough terrain off-Roading adventures. But all these have been taken over by my friends and now I am looking for another one.

Rest decision come on personal choice, but to me rather looking for a local market value ride, (good re-sale value) I prefer the brand which serves better to my off-Roading adventures.

both myself and Sajidd have (modified)defender 110's so you can guess where our vote will be. but i'd also suggest the vigo or the surf (diesel),... both excellent (comfortable) vehicles, but no match for the defender off road.

Prado is also very capable but i find it a bit more of a status symbol.

Well, if money is not not an issue go for LC or Patrol, no match for LC though. If lookin for a Daala (Truck) go for Vigo. If budget is a bit low go for G Grade Surf excellent value for money. Don even think abt goin for Rexton, its a failure every wher in world so in Pakistan, nd secondly its the pretty chick in the SUV league but not gudd for serious terrain. If ya weigh more then 75 Kg, Defender is gudd for ya otherwise ya need to gain some weight to drive a defender.

In moderate budget Surf wud be an excellent choice, its quite swift nd ya can feel the thrill aswell to a much extent ascompared to LC which handles almost everything on its own.

well da best 4x4 is hummer H1 ,for every where including pakistan ,
but if u want to know about local car , so i would say landcruiser, jeep , grand cruiser, or prado !

i will tell u the best SUV in the world and believe me it really is...

Fuel efficient

lighweight

nice in cutting and handling well in corners

nice in handling even if driven off road... like mud gravel up and down on huge heeps...

small in size which means it can go in narrow streets of pakistan unlike he big SUVz....
huge heeps...Its NISSAN X-TRAIL....

but if u r looking for luxury then I dont recommend this SUV...

Defender but not a brand new one as I think its a poor value for money
Prado: Fantastic
Vigo: Can go places
Jeep Wills, Wrangler: will go anywhere.
Mercedes G Wagon which I think is the best built 4x4, ever!
