Which Air conditioner (non inverter) To Buy

Looking to buy Split Air conditioners (non inverter) 1.5 ton in Karachi. Which one is the best? Dawlance, Haier, etc? Would appreciate if personal experience is shared.

Have used Haier, Panasonic and Acson (all non inverter 1.5 tons). Cooling was best from Acson, then Haier and lastly Panasonic. Inner coils of Haier leaked after 2 years, Panasonic and Acson after 4 years. Haier was local assembly whereas the other two were Malaysian. I would suggest Acson.

things are a hit and miss...

i have a dawlance at my house. inverter. 7 years old, still working, never leaked, never dismantled. clean it myself without disconnecting any thing with pressure washer.

acson is abnormally high priced. i have several of them installed in porta cabins, and many have had their electronic control cards fail. new cards if available were 10k (non inverter last i checked)

i would say go with the brand that has spares readily available.

installation process is very important. i would suggest you do it yourself. not particularly difficult. but must have vacuum pump to suck out all the moisture laden air from the inside the piping to avoid corrosion related leakages.
