Which automatic car with best fuel mileage and long range travel to buy?

Hi,

I have recently relocated to Pakistan and want your suggestions in buying an automatic car which:

• Gives best mileage inside Lahore;
• Can go long distance (roughly 400km) every month outside Lahore as I am from Jhang and shall be going to meet family once a month;
• has spare parts easily available.

Through my own research and liking, I narrowed it down to Honda N One and Suzuki Wagon R (imported version) as car has to be with automatic gears. I am more inclined to N One due to its unique shape but I need your experience and suggestions in deciding the best car based on above mentioned factors -- first two are really important.

One more thing, as Japanese imported Kei cars have not much price difference with local new cars, like Honda City , so please do consider that factor as well that whether there is any benefit in going for Kei cars and I should go for City.

Get an aqua... It will fulfill all your requirements...that is tbe most scientific answer... Baakee aap kee marzee hai...aap toyota auur honda pakistan kay peechay bhaagtay rahein gay... Baat toh waheen per rehnee hai....science hai hee aisee balaa...

Thanks, Hayat. Actually many people suggested the same. Between Prius Liftback and Aqua (Prius C), which one is better if money isn't an issue?

Aqua...it is cheaper and value for money...but it is a bit cramped in the back... If yku have a bigger family go for prius...

Prius is a bit expensive.... But highly preferred over corolla.... Prius is a hybrid bhai... No match....

N One Premium Tourer Turbo charged....with Gathers Nav......its the best car even much better than many local sedans.
Go for it eyes closed....

For utility Wagon R is better but NOne Turbo is really fun to drive with more tech gadgets and gizmos.

You didn't mention a budget and the condition of the road between lahore and jhang

I guess its M2 to M3.....i have been to Haveli Bahadur shah.....its all smooth

Budget is around 16 lac and after M3 there is a patch of 30 km in ok condition.

I have heard that N-One Premium Turbo version doesn't give good fuel average.
Aqua seems to be a good choice. City 1.3 A/T would give poor average.

The best option would be to get a graded Passo. Mileage, space, long and local travel and no fuel issues.
If you want a sedan, you can get a 2007 axio, that has decent mileage.
If you prefer local cars and have little knowledge of how cars function and are afraid to be ripped off by people, you can get a decent gli auto 2014 1.6 from toyotasure, or a 2014 city 1.5 prosmatic.
Both these local cars will do around 12 local and 15 long.
The axio will do 13 local and 16 long, the passo will do 16-17 local and 18 long.

Did somebody say fuel economy figures? Well corolla 1.8 cvti is also economical. Right now i have 12.7km/l on meter within city and that’s on AC. It gave me 17-18km/l on 100km/h and 15-16km/l on 120km/h. it also gave 19km/l from Lahore to gujraat by driving consistently on 80-90km/h.
Ps: These figures are confirmed by fuel top up method as well

I 2nd Haseeb. Exactly the same figures i used to have with Grande....

I got 20.5 km / L from Lahore to Mian Chanu @ 80 to 90 km/hr and in the same fuel after reaching back to Lahore it was 18.7 being displayed... with 692kms done....
