Which Bluetooth or wifi interface to OBD2 is better?

Asking around i came to know elm 327 is the most common but research on net tells me

• fake elm 327 can permenantly damage ur ecu or systems or do not display some values or do not work at all
• elm 327 has versions probably the latest or best is ELM 327L ver 2.2
• torque is the most common app for mobiles or laptop for these interfaces
• lots of other brands like icar2 r also in use but very less in Pakistan

so which product is better for toyota and honda cars .. is wifi device better or bluetooth one .. where to buy and what is the price .. please offer suggestions

elm 327 is available in Pakistan for as low as rs 800/- .. i have serious concerns over all these devices on sale on olx or on local online websites .. so far i plan to buy it directly from usa though aliexpress or similar website but i never did any such purchase (directly from usa) in the past so need help

I bought a Carista (Rs 3500/- approximately) downloaded their app for iOS. No better than the cheap ones. These can’t replace the professional ones.

Get the Wi-Fi version if you have to use it with your car's multimedia system. For cell phone usage get the Bluetooth version. I ordered the Wi-Fi one through AliExpress around 3 years ago and it's still working fine with me. It costed me around 2k i guess. Company was V gate
