Which brand of gear oil is best for Nissan Dayz Highway Star?
after how long milage gear oil need to be changed?
i am pretty sure the transmission is the same as mitsubishi EK wagon.
the correct oil is CVTF J4, mitsubishi Diaqueen.
very very sensitive transmission, and needs specific procedure for changing the oil
I use Kixx CVTF for my highway star 2014 as the original dia queen is not available here, around 2 ltrs comes out from the drain plug (on the passenger side) , just keep mixing new cvtf till all the old one is replaced, works for me
most people advise to change it every 50K but i do it sooner as we are mixing old with the new instead of the whole 6 ltrs in one go, hope this helps
