Which car should I buy? New Elantra GLS or 2nd hand Civic?

I am looking to buy a car. In my budget, I have
an option to buy 2022 unregistered Elantra GLS, which is being sold
under 7 Million. In this budget, the other option is to get a used 2021 Civic Oriel in good condition.

What do the experts recommend?

Any day any given time I will recommend you a brand new car. Mental peace and satisfaction is preferable. considering unregistered Elantra will be almost new go for it.

this 0 meter mindset of Pakistani people is the reason why alto cost 30 lacks now, companies know people will do anything for a 0 meter. Vehicle maintenance at these forum is shown as a very big & hectic thing where as it's nothing.

absolutely its about the mindset of people. people planning to sell their car in Pakistan do not spend a penny on maintenance as they knew they are gonna sell it. better to buy a brand new car for a peace of mind rather than spending your precious time and money on a used and abused car....

. civic is good but peopel are asking insane prices for that car which doest justified..

simple is that..just drive elantra .check the interior quality .. overall build quality... compare and then decide

phir jo dil kahe bahi kar loo. life is too short to live.

my uncle has it which recently he got the infamous issue with steering rack which costed him 250k and good car but not great ..

i tired to buy the 2018 civic but did not find the clean ..one and the clean one people were asking 50+ even 60 .. why would i pay that 60 lac for 5 year old car.. i dont get it.

forget about it 2021 or 2022 civics people are demanding 70+ .. trust me they are unable to sale the car.

i like this car a lot trying buy this car and finding it i m v.frustrated by insane demands
my whole point was if you need clean CIVIC then u need at least 60+ lac which is not justified i guess. in this range elantra is good option too!

Reaaon being new civic price and non availability of new civic . The price is justified by looking at lrices of Yaris, City, corolla .

Whole market is unfortunately insane but that's sad reality.

yup 6 months ago turbo 2017 was around 33 to 35 lac sigh..

even now Honda Civic Hardtop ke loog 45 demand kar rahe hy .. seriously!

Turbo may be a good engine, but paying Rs. 2 million extra for this alone does not make any sense. (Even if I had the money for it)

Anyways, based on the discussion and good feedback from members here, I have decided to go with Elantra GLS.
