Which car should I buy under 10 lac

I wanted to know which car will be best for me. As I want to purchase a best car under 10 lac rupees.
Should I import it or should I purchase local car.

Honest advice would be increase your budget and get a suzuki wagon r brand new. If your looking for older cars like cultus, corrola or civic then it depends on the piece you find in your price range.

I agree with ali15144, a new Wagon R would be new, give you good fuel economy, peace of mind and sell easily.

I am sorry but i wont agree with both of you. Rather we should first know what he is looking for in a car? I would never recomend a Pakistani Suzuki or toyota. Their brakes are horrible, they cant bear the force if they crash into something, the only thing that is gona happen the engine will come back through the dash board so please think about your family and kids. These Pakistani cars doesnt stops at all nor they have any road grip.

Lets me give you a list of cars that you should choose from. They are the best.

1988 CORROLLA. Very highly reliable. Price 6.5 to 7 lacs. The really good ones.
1994 To 1997 corrolla lx and se limited japanese. Price 8 to 9 lacs. Avoid Paki's.
1996 Honda civic japanese vti. Price 7 lacs.
2000 Honda civic. Price 8 lacs.
Last but not least toyota 2001 vitz. Price 7 lacs. Fitted with air bags, ultra grip. 1000 Cc.
The fuel avg ranges from 8 to 13 km realisticly for the above cars except the vits. Vitz does better.
Go for these, you will love the drive of these cars.

I advice you civic 7 th generation . 8 to 9 lack . One lack for all repair work . You will enjoy the ride . I bet you . I had one . On long great car . I know she is aged but love to drive

Buy import one but it will cost you around 11-13 lakh if you are not importing yourself .

Very impractical suggestions as these all cars are decade or more old.
which require regular maintenance. I'd suggest him to get a new WagonR (obviously a little more to add to budget) o a Euro2 Cultus,. 2014-15 Model (easy to maintain and easy to sell) Next choice should be 2008-09 Gli ( a good one will cost you a little more)
if not then you should consider Passo, or any other Japanese car like Mira Es (don't know if you can find one in this budget)

I agree. New car or latest possible used model you can buy would be the best option. You should aim for reliability and fuel economy. An older car won't have both these qualities.
