Which car should i prefer to buy? Japanese or Local?

Salam everyone,
I am looking forward to buy a car with in a range of about 800 thousand (8 Lac) ,
I concerned with some fellows which car should i buy ?
Japanese 660cc car OR Local Pakistani car.
i am not getting a clear point on some issues about Japanese cars:
What they say is
1: There are no mechanical maintainers of Japanese cars in Lahore city.
2: If there are some maintainers they are not really perfect , they just completely change the part which is causing trouble with out fixing it.(Spare parts as a whole are expensive?)
3: After one or two years Japanese cars start causing problems, which are temporary fixable.
I need to know whether these points are valid ? If they are then to which extent?
Secondly suggest me the car with in this range.
Comments from owners of Japanese cars will be much appreciated if they are using it from more than 2 years.

Japanese . There is no mantainance problem if you buy a Suzuki Honda or Toyota jdm cars .they can be easily maintained .for hybrid cars you will need to change battery but that happens only 4 -5 years so you can buy a good imported one for 1 - 1.5 lakh easily from market here or if your car importer has contacts in Japan .he can get it requisite for you from Japan.for 660 cc Suzuki alto or wagonr will be perfect . I will not recommend Mira or any other jdm

JDM ( Suzuki Alto, Wagon R)

Honda City IDSI 2007

If you have a considerable amount of family then wagonr .if your family is small then alto.maintainance of both cars is easily available in Pakistan.

Im using 2012 Mira ES for more than 1.5 years, maintenance is not an issue, just change Oil/air filter regularly and computer checkups on regular intervals. more satisfied than local car experience(personal). Go for low mileage JDM with verified auction sheet. In terms of quality and driving experience there is no comparison b/w local and JDM.
1.2.no doubt parts are expensive and it is really a headache if you hit your JDM car.
3. till then i had no problem with my car and its running perfect.

New Mira that is coming is non hybrid and will be 1300 cc which will make it too much expensive .so within few years Mira will become obsolete plus no spare parts .i will not recommend anyone to buy Mira now .

Please browse through Pakwheels for about 15 minutes and count how many posts are created about problems with newly bought JDM cars and how many are created about problems with new locally made cars. This simple survey should give you an idea about which types of cars to buy, local or JDM.
