One of Professional Photographer suggested me 600D with tamron 17-50 f2.8 lens ! What you say about this ?

Its suggested to be start from D5100 with Kit Lens and it will be much less thn your budget, but the downside will be its Lens as D5100 has no Built-in Auto Focus Motor, while if you take a bitter gulp and purchase D7000 Body only and purchase Sigma 18-200 it will perfect thing to go anywhere, while Lens actually depends upon your requirements and shooting.

For Canon the better thing is its Lens Price but High ISO Performance is not impressive.

How much it will cost in pakistan ?

I thought u would go with original brand kit lenses

This lens is much better than the kit lens and is f2.8 which is very good for low light shooting.

But keep these things in mind if u r getting this Tamron lens:

• It is not tack sharp at f2.8 and is required to be stopped down to f4-f5.6 to give best results.
• It renders bulb light more yellow or orange and white balance is to be adjusted towards blue to balance it
• Sometime, it misses target in autofocus and something else gets in focus for which manual focusing can be done to achieve the best results.
• The built in image stabilization is not as good as in Canon or Sigma counterparts

This is the cheapest lens within its category if compared to Canon 17-55 or Sigma 17-50 but still gives great image quality so its a best value deal.

However, coverage will be limited as compared to Nikon D5100 with Sigma 18-200 as this lens has more range.

I personally Like D5100 Because its Cheap and Latest !
And as starter i think its best option for me to learn lots of things ! Later on i can upgrade my camera to Upper models !

i being a D5100 user and by seeing that u have a 100k budget and everyone advising u buy the D5100, i would STRONGLY suggest, u get the D7000 with the Sigma lens...18-200 one and the combo would be a great one.
VCheng sir uses this lens pretty often and from his pictures you can see the quality is awesome. and when later when u want to upgrade ur lenses, u wont face much problems as u would if u get the D5100.

by problems i didnt refer to technical problems, instead my indications was towards the upgrading of ur lenses etc. as D5100 lenses are expensive then D7k's.

1. D5100 ONLY Body - 52-55k
2. Nikon Nikkor AF-S F/1.8G Prime lens - 22-26k
3. Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM Nikon-f - 23-26k

and if i had 100k, i would have definetely gone for the above options for sure!

So if the D7000 is exceeding ur range, then get the above D5100 wala combo and u might be left with some spare cash that u can spend on memory card, spare batteries, flash and perhaps a grip too

Thanks ! Now i have two options ~
1-Nikon D5100 or Canon 600D With some good Lenses and Accessories !
2-Nikkon D7000 with Kit lens.I will upgrade lenses later on !

D7000 will let you help not outgrow your body for a long time to come, and but its at the highest end of enthusiast line-up thus costly, though definitely worth it.

(PS: when considering 600D do consider 550D, the only main difference is the articulated screen and about 10k or more price difference, which you can use to get a good second hand prime lens )

Edit: do update about the D7000 price with the kit lens package and the body only PLUS Sigma 18-200 lens

Both are good But I m liking 600D more Because its Good in Both Pictures and Videos Secondly It has Built in Focus motor And the canon lenses are cheaper then Nikon lenses !

These guys have another video where he completely disregarded D5100 because of no manual control in video mode.
