Which engine oil is best "Zic, Shell, Total or PSO"

Which engine oil is best among the above mentioned oils for a high mileage Corolla car? (Especially which one has less smoke expulsion).

I would rate as follows:
1. Shell
2. Total
3. ZIC
4. PSO
(provided the oils are 100% genuine and original, and all parameters are also kept same! Like API / ILSAC rating, semi synthetic / mineral / fully synthetic nature, etc.)

Shell helix ultra is imported?? I used it years ago..and normally people don't like it

Brother i don't know that whether its fully imported, or packed / blended here. I also once poured Shell Helix Ultra 5w-40 in my ex-ride FAW V2, but wasn't satisfied. Later i believed that oil was fake, and not original.

People also complain about ZIC A+ 5w-20, and its burning up in 1KR-FE. I am using it in my current ride Vitz; and MA SHA ALLAH fully satisfied. No burn up, reduction in level, etc. Engine oil level same on dipstick, when poured, and then when drained after driving for 5,000 Kms.

It all depends from where you buy the oil. As long as oil is 100% genuine and original and from some reputed brand, and its grade is recommended by the OEM, one will not face issues.

Yeah genuine is the most important thing. That's one majir reason people opt for oem oils.. atleast they are genuine. We have a huge industry to produce counterfeit oils. Back in 2009, a friend who worked in Karachi told me that they repack mobil oils and said...kisi ka baap nhn bata sakta.... imagine the level bhai
