Which engine oil to be used for Toyota Corolla GLI 1.3 and Altis 1.6 at different milages?

Hey Guys!

need suggestion on which engine oil we should use for 2019 corolla gli and corolla altis variants.

i normally am using Kixx 5w-30 at 4000 milage and same at 8000 milage

any suggestions would be highly welcomed.

I would suggest fully synthetic engine oil from some reputed brand. It must be 100% genuine and original, meeting latest API SN / SN Plus, and / or ILSAC GF-5 criteria.

If you want best for bucks, go for Total Quartz 9000 Future Series and change oil + filter after every 5,000 KMS (or 6 months, whichever comes first). Do not drag them beyond 5,000 KMS.

Kixx is also a good brand, but I would prefer Total over it.

what should be the rating for total quartz?
5w30 or 5w-40?

Do not go for 5w40.. your car would be much economical and poweful on 5w30.

In my altis 1.6 2018 I am using 5w50 taglon from the dealership, I am aware that it is a thicker oil. Won't using an oil from somewhere else void the warranty?

Go for toyota japan import 5w30 or 10w30 than.
Taglon is the worse oil you can find in market

I am aware of how viscous it is and I'd rather use 5w30 over it anyday, the problem is that I have heard if I used any oil other than the one that they have in 3s dealerships my warranty will be voided which I cannot afford. They only have 5w50 taglon at the dealerships. My question was, will it void my warranty or not.

Nopes @nifiii is my friend. He purchase liqui moly 5w40 synthoil hightech from outside, change it at 8k kms from dealership, and they sign warranty book from him after mentioning the oil he's using. He goes to Toyota Township Lahore.
If you are doubtful about it than purchase toyota japan import 5w30 or 10w30 tin pack box from dealership, but It will cost you a lot.

Alright I'll see to it, cost is not an issue I plan on keeping this car for decades. Just know that my car hasn't even crossed 10,000 kilometers yet, I'll confirm from the dealership on my next oil change.

Where do you live? If you're in Lahore than go to toyota airport or cantt and get Mobil 1 from them..

I live in Karachi bro, the showroom near my place in dha phase 1 did not have 5w30 sadly.

They must have 10w30 japan import one than. All dealership have that.
In toyota manual viscosities are recommended, not company. Tell them that and they will surely allow you to bring oil from outside than
