Which gear oil to use for honda city

which gear oil to use with honda city manual transmission .its 1999 honda city exi d15b2 engine with no transmission problem (Alhamdulilah)

@xulfiqar i was thinking to charge zic 75w85 but u recommend delo gold which is 15w40 but i red at wikipedia which says

"For example, many modern gearboxes use a 75W90 gear oil, which is actually of equivalent viscosity to a 10W40 motor oil"

so what should i do ..... what will be the right choice delo gold or zic ?

all those who are skeptical about using delo 15w40 in their honda manual gear boxes, you may pour them without a doubt in mind. I too was skeptical but I trusted the experts here and my car hasn't caused me any distress for the past 6 years. I simply get the oil drained and replaced every 2 years.

in short, if you want to go for honda's own mtf, you may do so with eyes closed but if you want to get the same stuff at a reasonable price then get the caltex delo gold ultra 15w40.

Aoa all
After reading this topic I filled my honda city idsi gear box with 1.75 litrs of 15w 40 .
Just after 50 km of use check engine light turned on. I restarted the car and it was all normal. Then again after few Kms check engine appears. Then again same happened at another restart...
Drive was completely normal
Is it something related to gear oil change? Or it's just a coincidence that some other fault has occurred at this time?
Car is 263000 km used

Alhamdulillah problem solved. It was due to a loose connection on IAT sensor. Nothing to do with gear oil
