Assalamualaikum I'm here to ask that which grade engine and transmision oil should I use in my mira EiS 2012?As I bought the car 2 months ago, I don't know that which grade oil the previous owner was using.And is it ok if like previous owner used 10w50 oil and I change the grade of transmission oil? It would harm engine or not?
check your car manual and inside of the bonnet. there must a sticker telling the exact grade of the engine oil.
regarding transmission oil check the dip stick that goes into gear box. usually it has the transmission oil detals mentioned on it.

Brother i heard ky 20w 50 tou dalna he nai chaiyeh mira es me....0w-30 to 5w-30 recommend hai wese but ap second number yani 30 same rakho aur first number jese 5w yah 10w krlo koi issue nahi

Yr kch smj ni aa raa js mechanic se be pocha haa osne yahe kaha ha ki apne ghari lac se upar chal gaie haa ap isme 20/50 use karain....jo recommendation ha wo to Japan kj environment ko daikh krr rakhe haa but Pakistan or Japan ki weather me fark haa....but still confused
use 5w30. no issue at all. it can be used in winters as well as summer and plz avoid following mechanic advice. 20w50 is their favorite oil even for new car.

your car will take 0w20 or maximum 5w30. even if the mileage is 500,000 kms..
