Contrary to popular belief, the 7th generation civic can easily do 10-11 kmpl if driven accordingly. It's a 1500-1600cc car buddy (depending on whether you have an exi or a vti) The 8th gen has a lower fuel average. If yours isn't giving the aforementioned average.. there's something wrong with the car or with its maintenance. Get it checked. Let me know if I can help in any way.
