which car do you own?
of my somewhat extensive experiences with cars and mechanics, i have come accross 2 type of issues :
1 technical issues e.g. car missing with apparently all things looking perfect, rpm fluctuations, check lights,
2 mechanical works e.g. clutch plate change, brake service, tappet setting, radiator service, suspension changes, hose pipes, etc.
for 1 type of issues, you really cannot trust even the suzuki people or local mechanics - both are totally dumbs in trouble shooting
for 2 type, find any good local mechanic - provide him parts yourself from best possible local part shop and sit with him so that he installs it only. e.g. my Liana's clutch change+bearing changes+pressure plate changes costed me total 9k - bought brand new japanese AISIN parts for 6700 rupees and mechanic charged 2500 for the installation. whereas for almost the same work in my office's cultus, Suzuki charged 48000 rupees!!!! i mean W.T.H!! for confirmation, just call any pak suzuki 3s and inquire about part prices - the Coils of Liana are of 23k whereas they are easily available for 4k in open market brand new..
