a bit old thread but... if new swift goes from 0-100 in 10 secs.. thts not really fast.. lancer 1.3 also does the same besides, city is not made for speed,, its engine is for economy

and abhi tak just took my lancer to 150kmh in karachi.. culd hav gone a bit faster..

yup, my bad... 10 seconds is of 1.6 lancer... but i did 150kmh in my 1.3 without any mods.. and not a very big stretch of a road... (3.5~4km) culd hav gone faster...

how does one time the 0-100kmh seconds accurately??

a friend claims his old gli does it in 8 seconds is it possible under any circumstances? the car is totally stock and on petrol.no cng.

a person who can't afford sports car have other priorities in life like supporting family, owing a sports car comes very high in hierarchy of needs, safety and survival comes before self actualization, google maslow hierarchy of needs it would be a good reading i promise

secondly if you want cheap thrills than talk about gtti ... where does econo sedans fit into sports car is beyond me :S

p.s there is this option on this forum known as SEARCH do explore it when you get time

well my friend, RX-7's from year 1999~2002 all of them produced 300 HP but the company never showed the actual figures because of the japan automotive law. The maximum allowed limit was 280 HP .thats why i said 280~300 HP in the above reply
