One can only reply to this topic if they have driven rather i would say personally kept the cars. Then only u can judge the difference. sunee sunaye batain and ek baar chalanay say kuch nahin hota. I have kept all these cars except lancer and sunny so i cant comment on them but the cars that i own i must say

1. Liana. accept it or not its a beast. It really is. Has a superb capacity to go fast

2. Corolla Gli. Runs well but trust me very difficult to stop. ABS is just fine not like the honda ABS.

3. City. Its a bit slow

well the if the limit is 1300cc , then an RX-8 OR ITS BIG BROTHER RX-7 takes the crown ,
they are too powerfull for the 1300cc range

no bro not rx8 , but in that case rx7 wins , its all about hp ,

rx8 can rev till 8.2k
rx7 can rev till 8.0k

but the hp out for both cars at those rpms are not the same , rx7 generates way more power, cause of its turbo

the 13b REW is an engine which was first seen in the second generation RX-7 also known as savana code name (FC3S)

the same engine was also used in the third generation also known efini or (FD3S) with minor tweaks

the reason to tell you all this is to let know that the 13B rew grew in terms of performance as the years passed and mazda engineers got more familiar with the motor

the 280hp mark that you mentioned was brought out in the series 8 rx7 which were only sold in japan , the series 8 rx7 were the last of the series for rx7

i hv drivn both but sunny rocks...
cause its a very strong car and the breaks are to good compare to a gli or xli........whtsoever
and it has trimnduz pick and top speed tou jati rati hai.........good for dragz it doesnt heat up to fast like city and rollas........

is this post about which is the fastest 1300cc car , or the reliability of the car ,
well i never had any issues with city being overheating , quality of coolant and coolant level is very important for any engine and top most priority for a rotary engine

keep your car maintained and i am sure you will not find these type of issues ,

i said once and i say it again fastest 1300cc is an rx7 (fd3s), if not rx7 then city EXI S (H)

dont know about EXI S being a hyper valve ,

but it is a 16 valve , 4 valve per cylinder

correct me if i am wrong , its been a long time for me parted with that car ,
but sure it was a powerful car , the power to weight ratio was just right for the city EXI s

@fahdchapra: bro i have a city exis 2000 model and i must say its an excellent car with an excellent engine and handling. yes its hypervalve 16 SOHS produces 95BHP and also the fuel avg is very good on petrol...
