Which Is the best Honda city vs Toyota Corolla Gli 1.6 Auto

Hello,
I search lots of topic and all are useful but i want to ask lil bit different question.

I want to buy car for home use. I am getting Corolla Gli 1.6 Auto 2012 in 14 Lack. But i read that average of fuel is not good. So should i buy gli 1.6 auto 2012 or city 1.3 manual 2017.

I know there is only 4 lack difference but dont want to take loan. So need help to suggest me, what should i do.

Brother city 2017 will be a brand new car as compared to 5 years old abused & highly driven 2012 corolla. Just compromise on stiffer suspension of city otherwise best.

I would prefer new car over 5yrs used car with one generation old shape.
One of my best friend also in the same situation whether to buy 2012 corolla for 14lac or new city. But finally he is booking new city this week, which is wise decision I blv.

But for new i have get more loan and wait 20 days for 2018 model. Is that better that i get more loan.?????

My suggestion, if u can wait till regular delivery time of City, which is 4-5 months, consider this time as an opportunity to save some money instead of loan.

Look for a well maintained and low mileage corolla, city doesn't come anywhere near the corolla in all aspects excluding leg space. 1.6 is an economical engine and serves the purpose well, since its a home use car, i assume it will carry more than 3 people at a time, mostly, in that situation, the mileage is the same for city and corolla

I think you should drive city 2017....i think they have improved the suspensions a lot.....the driving comfort is much better now...

Driven 100K approx. Not even a single probblem with City.

A collegue of mine was also stuck between a 14.80 lac 2012 Gli immaculately maintained and City Brand new and ultimately booked new city.

The majority above is right. Don't go here and there and proceed with the new City eyes closed and you will not repent your decision.

Finally i buy honda city apl. Its really great but its hard for me to drive manual. I was addicted to auto.

Let see what average will give me city.

I m stuck between.new gli 1.3 and city 1.3.
I want to get city 1.3 being cheaper but some people says its not as rough and tough as gli due to its compromised suspension.
Please suggest
