as most of us become really annoyed by it
In hafeez center Lahore people buff the screens to remove scratches and they also use the same trick for scratched cds

toothpaste is useful and shampoo too but for cds dvds
take few drops of lemon juice on a tissue paper and wipe the screen with that...dry with a clean tissue paper!

NEVER use tissue paper on screen. Tissue paper contains microscopic glass threads which scratches . Only soft cloth.

so for now the best method from all the replies i guess is buffing
buffing can ruin ur screen, as it gets a layer buffed off from your screen..!!! go to any mobile shop and ask him to give u a good SCREEN PROTECTOR, he will clean ur screen and put that protector on it..!!
buffing will do no damage.there is a plastic screen moulded with the body. that is where the scratches are. the actual lcd is underneath because it would be too vulnerable if exposed
hmm buddy thats right..!! but buffing once or more than once can destroy that protective plastic layer..!!!
Change the phone.
Change the casing or Use glint.
Dont buff your screen,it will make ur screen dull.
