Zic has no quality nowadays.. best quality is Mobil,liqui moli or for an affordable quality option i will recommend

caltex havo, and i sugest dont change oil brands unless theres no otherway. Stick to one n than change it on time.

for the mehran i'd use shell yellow and change it regularly since it is cheap but it all depends on your requirements (not stated)

LOL! all my mechanics say that and it is SOOOO annoying! honestly brands make little difference, it's more important to use the correct specified weight, viscocity and temp rating. almost all oil formulas are different and i personally use cheap oils for cheap cars (local) and better oils for better cars (imports). a mehran can use the worst possible oil and live with it since the engine is bound to be opened up within a few years.

for suzukis (our company fleet cars) we use Zic, but for my khyber i used to use shell yellow. For my toyotas i've found TMO to be decent and good value. however my VWs use all sorts of odd oils (currently using this strange CNG oil called BIG HP,.. LOL!)

Use PSO's ordinary mobile oil (it is way better than Shell's yellow mobile oil) and religiously change it (alongwith the oil filter) after every 2000km. There's no use using Caltex Havoline, Zic etc. in a Mehran.

Brother its tootally useless for Mehran wont make it a Ferrari California.

Its like the same thing which in bakra mandi bakra owners says that bakra khalis desi ghee kha kar pala hai.

1983 carby design OHC engine was designed when SF grad oils were available.

Even any motorcycyle oil will work more than fine in Euro II Mehran.
