Which one is better in terms of fuel consumption?

Manual
- Cheaper, fun to drive, more fuel economical, faster response, simpler drivetrain.

Auto
- More expensive, less fun to drive but easier in city traffic, less fuel economical, slightly more complex drivetrain, slower response when accelerating compared to a manual.

Auto 1.3 is sluggish compared to manual and has bad resale, if you want auto then go for 1.5 which enjoys better resale.

In terms of fuel consumption, 1.3 manual is always better. I am getting almost 17-18 kmpl from my manual city on highways with A/C.

nevery buy 1.3 auto....it is very bad in drive...and from resale point of view,...i had kept it...

For manual 1.3 is more better because it gives you better acceleration but on the other hand auto is sluggish

Being a Honda City Prosmatic 2016 user, I'd suggest you to go for manual transmission. 1.3 i-VTEC with a manual transmission is much better in fuel average, more fun to drive and yeah CHEAP! I'm having a 10.7km/l with a Prosmatic transmission in Lahore city with AC. Last words, HONDA CITY I-VTEC!

My CITY 1.3 A/T 2016 never went beyond 7.5 even once in August~Nov with 100%AC. I always check auto tank full to auto tank full. The difference in fuel economy between A/T and M/T is mind boggling
