Hi Everyone,Im planning to buy a new car for daily use purpose.Currently im using Honda Civic Reborn 2007 which i'll exchange with new car.Im thinking of two options, Honda Civic 2018 1.8 Oriel and Suzuki Vitara 1.6 GLX.Actually i had 3 options in my mind 3rd was Corolla Grande CVT facelift but i dont like corollas.By reviews and research i really like Suzuki Vitara, I took its test drive today and i liked it.But the question is.. what should I do? Confused about whether to go for it or not.. what is its resale value?Honda Civic is all time favourite so there is nothing to worry about it.There is a huge difference between prices..Please guide me..Dil to vitara pe aaya hua hai.. but price bohat hai.. soch raha hun k itni investment kar k phans na jaun..
depends on your use....if you mostly have to do city driving then civic....if you have to do offroading then vitara...they are very different cars with very different uses....civic is a city sedan...vitara is an suv for offroading.....if you are never going to take the car out of city then there is no advantage of an suv....
Definitely i'll take car out of city as well..
Suzuki dealer did not offer you discount on Vitara? Which version are you looking to buy GL+ or GLX ? They both have huge discounts, some are offering free Mehran with Vitara.
They are telling people that Discount Offer has expired
Then do not buy Vitara, go for Oriel, wiser choice. When Hyundai Tucson comes you can go for 2.0 AWD and sell your oriel without losing money.
Hmmm thanks for the advice.Suzuki motors claiming that they've sold all its stock and more than half of new shipment which has been arrived already also sold. But i cannot see any vitara in lahore. Very few vitaras have seen in lahore. How true is that? What is its resale value?
Heard hyundai tuscan will come with Manual transmission so its no use for me.
No, both transmissions will be available. The market for manual SUVs is non-existent
Get a Vitara..... whats the on-road price with and without discount?
Vitara on road price Rs. 3924750 filer, 3983000 non-filer. Including WHT and registration.
Civic oriel on road price Rs. 2714170 filer, Rs. 2799670 Non-Filer.
Difference between filer prices: Rs. 12,10,580
As i said it depends on your need and use...
Buying a new car is for my daily use and with in city drive. For long journeys and tours like Northern Pakistan (gilgit Skardu etc i use my Toyota Surf 2003) for short journeys like islamabad sahiwal faisalabad bahawalnagar etc i can use Vitara as well because it is fuel efficient and lighter. But if i buy civic i wont take it out of town first preference will be SUV.
Then you've sort of made up your mind already. Vitara is a good option.
Yar i really like vitara.. trst drive k baad ziada psnd agai hai.. bs price se jaan ja rahi hai.. 12 lacs difference bohat ziada hai..Mera surf sale kr k fortuner lene ka bhi mind hai.. uske liye bhi payment chahiye.Ek baar car le li next 5 6 years tk nahi change karta me.. Vitara pasand aai hui hai bs price pe mind nahi maan rhaYahi na ho keh 39 ki vitara le k saal baad 25 ki sale ho rahi ho.
If i buy vitara then i'll have to book fortuner on leasing with 30,40% down payment
Situation tou yahi hai if you buy vitara instantly you will loose 6-7 lacs upfront on resale as its none and also future ka bhi nahi pata whether they are going to hold it for sale or not in long run agar apko 7-8 yrs rakni hai car and resale ka dukh nahi hai tou go for vitara but reslae bhi chaiyeh to firstly make your mind whether you want sedan or compact SUV and look accordingly.... if you already have SUV and planning to buy fortuner than better go for CIVIC thats is what i would do in your situation but if you are fan of SUV and only like those than look for other option like BMW X1 OR AUDI Q sereis, why waste your money on suzuki....
Yahi point hai mera.. people will ask... why wasted your money on SUZUKI?Thought its very good in quality and performance suzuki ne vitara bohat achi banai hai.. but humari mentality hi aisi hai kia karein..
Well lets see... kahan tk baat pohanchti hai.. thanks for your time everyone
Just go for whatever you are more comfortable with and caters to your needs, log toh bohut kuch boltay hain but at the end of the day it's your money and your choice to make, i personally think a civic oriel would be the better option here as you already have an suv.
In my case.. im more comfortable with SUV. But i already have one and planning to exchange it with the new one (fortuner)Hmmm.. i have started to think that i should go for civic oriel.
