Which timing belt ia best for Suzuki Alto 1000cc

Asslam o Alekum all respected memebers, today i visited market to know about the rates for timing blets, on suzuki 3s belt was 1500, the i visited to local market, at Bando brand name shop i asked them the rate, they told me bando belt is about 750 made in japan with life time of 1 lac km, and other was Mitsubishi rate was 450 with life time of 50k, now tell which one is gud its first time to change the belt and don't have any idea for which one i should go.

try to get a genuine BANDO belt.
There are fake brands belts are available in market and quality is worst that your existing belt.
I have seen a comment on PW that a member replaced his cars belt after 1 lakhs kms but new one broke after 5500 kms
Thats why I said 1 No. local item is better that 2 No. imported brand.
So purchase belt from a reliable and honest vendor.

the genuine belt on the suzuki is a gates or bando I recall. Remember to replace the roller bearing too and get a good quality part for the roller, also make sure NEVER to wrap the belt tighter than its smallest loop that it will go around in the engine. Also make sure the mechanic doesnt apply manual tension to the roller, it should spring on its own and should be enough. Install new oil seals on the cam and crank snouts when replacing the belt and thin foam strips on the timing cover to prevent water and dirt from being entering the belt covers.

Most belt failures in Pakistan were usually fault of mechanic or oil on belt.
