Which Wax Should I Use for a Car Parked in Direct Sunlight?

I’m new to the detailing field and need some advice. My car is parked in direct sunlight most of the time, so I want to protect the paint properly. I’ve decided that I’ll be waxing it every month to maintain protection and shine.

I’m looking for a good wax that can actually last at least a month in harsh sun exposure. I was thinking of going with Collinite 845 Insulator Wax
since I’ve heard it’s a durable option, but I’m not sure if that’s the best choice for my situation.

Would Collinite 845 be a good monthly wax for a daily driver parked in the sun, or should I look at another wax or sealant that offers better UV resistance and longevity?

Any recommendations or tips would be really appreciated.

applying any kind of wax on a non prepped surface will always result in the wax not holding up for the amount of time it states. Even if you want to do it yourself, do the basics and you'll love the shine and protection

clay the paint first, if it needs compounding, use a good cutting compound which can easily be applied by hand. Follow this with some polish (some have glazing abilities which for hand application is a great choice) and finally top it off with a sealant or wax
Here's what i use on most of my cars which are done by hand

Tonyin clay bar
Meguiars ultimate compound
Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Blackfire wet diamond paint sealant
Blackfire midnight sub carnauba wax ( you can swap this for the collinite 845 or Soft99 KOG or Fussocoat ). I have a spare new bottle of Nanoskin Majestic creme wax which when applied on a prepped surface will also easily last 3 months on a daily driver

Which wax is best for white colour

A sealant will work better on white paint. But if you want to go the wax way, meguiars ultimate liquid/paste wax. Synthetic waxes have an advantage over carnauba waxes when it comes to lighter or white colors. You can't add too much depth to white paint unlike solid colored or metallic paints so the synthetic wax will give you that added endurance. Also, carnauba waxes might give you a hazy yellowish ting on solid white color. Whether this is true or not is debatable (its a hot topic amongst detailing geeks) but generally, synthetic waxes are preferred.

Fusso Coat Soft99. It's the best bet for long lasting protection even on unprepped surface

Just get the few other products to really protect your car. Get the Clay bar, iron out from tonyin. I gave you options for good polishes and then coat the car with FC. It wont give you the claimed 1 year protection but a good 4-5 months on a daily

FC is also very good against detergents like the collinite 476s

And this wax doesn’t damage the paint, clear coat thickness or gloss in any way if i apply it on monthly basis as car is a daily and mostly parked in sun
