Whining noise on start-up in gear area

Aoa,
I bought Suzuki alto 2011 few days back.. everything is fine but sometimes there is a whining noise in the gear area when i start-up the engine. I have also observed the same noise when i shift to 5th gear while driving. If its at start-up phase than usually it lapse after i put the vehicle in gear. When i am driving and shift to 5th gear than it will continue until i stop the vehicle.
Please help if someone has any idea what's going on!

Check in cold start at morning time. If noise decreases on pressing clutch towards floor, then it sounds like Low Gear Oil Level.

I think either your gear oil is level low or it hs become dense and expired after driving of 40,000 Km.

Flush your gear oil and put new gear oil inside it
