White number plates allowed in islamabad?

hi pakwheelers,
i have 1995 registered honda civic and i want to know am i allowed to have number plates with white color background and black colour font on it? The number is not computerised.

according to the law it should be black back ground
white writing.

but pk zindabad.....u can put a smiley face at the rear instead of plate and drive around the town

But in 1995 White backgroud was used for COmmerciallly used Vehicles but i saw some cars having almost same format as Computerised cars and moving around unless u met some angry Police Man.

i think they use yellow number plate now..not white

m not sure...but when i was getting my license..i asked them..an they told me like this

a normal distance will be i think around 200 meters or less

guys getting challan on white background and silver number colour..that combination is hardly visible in sun light with in 50 meter range

Legally and technically it is wrong and you can be given ticket by any clever traffic cop. The old numbers have to be in their own standard pattern i.e white letters over black background.

Baqi sub chalta hai, but why take risk. Following law is better than being sorry and losing money and wasting time

if you were in pukhtoon khwa police don't even give a damn how ur no plate is yellow, whit,e red ,black bring it on man
i am using black background and white writing which is very small but not even army guys stop me
and thats the thing for non computerized numbers just do any style on it

I have islamabad march 2004 registered car (non ict) with IDN registration number/no computerized number plate.While another friend of mine has same year registered with ICT and computerized number plate.Why is this difference?
