True...... keep on doing what ever one can do to help our needy brothers and sisters. Afterall we all are doing something on our part to help them when authorities are not doing any thing except promoting themselves and enjoying "international tourism" on our cost.
Coming back to the original point, let me share my experience. During July, I was with my family on a trip to Naran. We were sitting on the bank of Naran river and my kids were enjoying biscuits and cupcake when two little girls came near. My wife offered them that they gladly accepted. Later, when I was reversing my car, I noticed that one of the girls picked up a piece of cake that my son has left there. She rubbed away the dust and started eating it:$.
Keeping this heart felt incidence in mind, I bought a lot of biscuits, candies, cup cakes, ballpoint pens for my trip to Neelum valley after Eid and distributed among kids I encountered along the way in the Neelum Valley. In return, I enjoyed priceless smiles when I just spent just Rs. 2,000. I never offer money to kids and always buy stuff that kids are selling even if I dont need what they are selling.
Please take benefit from this opportunity when you are travelling some where. In Lahore some times it is hard to find a really needy person (and hundreds of fake guys) and in the North you will find a lot for Sadqa and Zakat. e.g I was having breakfast (omellete paratha) some where near Chilas; a local guy (nicely dressed) was continously looking at me and my friends started joking "pathan has focused on you for.....!" Not liking the taste, I left half uneaten and was about to leave when that guy rushed and requested if he could eat the left over :'(.
Your thoughts please?
