Why are such SCAMS allowed on Pakwheels?

Pakwheels is a great forum and a tremendous help for anyone looking for a car. Have been following Mr. Suneel Munj on Youtube for couple of years now and he also comes across as a great guy. In his videos he always emphasis on safety of drivers.

But then you come across something like this, a FULLY ACCIDENTED CAR (inspected by Pakwheels) being listed on Pakwheels and sold by Pakwheels, when their own rating service gave it rating of 2.2 (it's fully accidented), making it extremely dangerous for driving.

Really hope this gets to Suneel Munj and Pakwheels starts at least some sort of basic vetting of Car advertisements before they go live.

Where is the scam? It's a wrecked and badly rebuilt car according to the report - that information is freely available.

What does it matter that it's described as 'good condition'? 99% of used car descriptions online are useless anyways - you might as well ignore them - unless they contain some red flag words like 'army officer/lady/doctor driven, 'genuine', 'sealed engine', 'used as 2nd/3rd/nth car', 'VIP number', 'antique' etc etc.

Wrecked car being sold by Pakwheels for this price is what the scam is. And I don't think a platform of Pakwheel's repute should be selling totalled vehicles. It could prove deadly for whoever buys it. Why become part of something that can result in someone losing a life.

I am not getting as what you want Pakwheels to do... on inspection of the car they have awarded it just 2.2 out of total 10... now it depends on the buyer if he wants such a car.
And in case if you have objection to ‘Good Condition’ kindly note that is Seller’s Comment. Well that is Freedom of Speech that is owner’s car and he can call/say it whatever he wants to.

Brother let me try to give a just, unbiased opinion:

Then what's the bad and harm in it? I am unable to understand.

It is a fully accidented car and has been inspected by Pakwheels, and accordingly, it has been given a rating of 2.2/10, which seems 100% justified. One should not object on it.

Issue tab banta hai, and lazimann banta hai, when a fully accidented car is inspected by Pakwheels, and is given a rating of like; 7~8, or above (which is not the case here, so report seems justified).

Secondly, if you object that it has been listed on Pakwheels, then again, anyone can list any car on Pakwheels, and there may not be any objection on it, as a potential buyer needs to be mature enough to decide that whether he is buying it or not?

Yahan to jhoot bool k, and dhooka dey k log fully accidented cars, in the price of well maintained cars baich daitay hain, yahan to aesa kuj nai ho raha. They are telling in prior, and already warning that car is accidented, and buy at your own risk!

3rdly, if you object that why Pakwheels is selling it, then Pakwheels has a service "Pakwheels sell it for me", in which they 1st inspect the car, and if it passes a certain criteria, then it is declared as Pakwheels certified, otherwise inspected, and in case of used JDMs, auction sheet is also there.

Anyone can approach Pakwheels to sell his / her car, and Pakwheels can accept the offer, even if the car is accidented (as its all Business), but YES, issue will definitely be there, if they do not inspect it, if its a used JDM then auction sheet is not there and is unverified, and whatever the potential seller tells them, they add it in the description, and when a buyer buys it, and its later found that car is accidented, then they back out and do not support him.

The report is there, which is clearly a warning directly / indirectly, that car is not worth buying, and a potential buyer should stay away from it. But from Business point of view, its fine. At least they re not deceiving anyone, neither the buyer, nor the seller. If car is accidented, then it is accidented, and buy at your own risk!

4thlly, as far as "Good Condition" is concerned, YES, your point seems valid, but then again, apparently, the car might be seeming in good condition. YES, choice of words does matter a lot in description, and I strongly endorse it, still, to the potential buyer, actual, and physical condition of the car should matter the most!

And it does!

Mostly, the statements are general and generic, and in case of Pakwheels, some already made statements are already there, and sellers mostly click on them and choose, instead of going for actual description and comments, like clicking on "Low Mileage", when car is driven for 150,000+ Kms, and is also evident from the odometer reading, etc. and there are No. of Examples.

5thly, and lastly, I think as is said "Mishtri Houshyaar Baash" and "Jaagday Raina, Saaday tey na Raina", I think it applies to everyone here in our country, in all fields of life, and in the end, in case of used cars, a potential buyer needs to be wise enough to make a good decision for him.

Regarding price too, anyone can demand any price for his item. It again comes to the buyer on how he shows his cards.
