Why Corolla has diffrent shapes 4 diffrnt markets

Why Toyota introduces different shapes of the same model, like Corolla, in different markets at the same time?
Like the shape of Corolla in Pakistan/India/USA is different from the shape of Corolla in Gulf/Japan/Africa.

Various reasons. Continuouation of an older design theme, laws and design regulations all play a vital part. Secondly is the cost of manufacture.

The model that my friend has affixed below IS the most sold model as it is sold in All of Asia, some parts of Europe and the US.

The G9 is a JDM. Japenese domestic model. The shape is slightly different but the car as a whole is the same. Everyone else enjoys VVT, we don't get it any locally produced version. The reason being cheap fuel.

So what the shape of a car looks like in part depends on where its destined.

Of the two shapes that you have mentioned in Germany, one is a sedan, the other a hatchback.
But even the shape of sedan is different for different markets, like I earlier said.

u r right brother shueyb 1 is sedan and the other is hatchback but the thing is there is lil difference in there interior as well as in there lightsshape, and da sedan is much different as compare to model being introduced in pakistan and the model goin to b introduced this year wid VVTI.and in germany it is in1.4 VVTI wid 97ps engine

The Corolla in Pakistan is the same with respect to shape as it is in Usa or India.This is actually Corolla Altis.This Corolla was designed on European style for production throughout the world.The second model is the Japanese one.thats based on Japanese style and is for Japanese Domestic Market but enyhow it was exported to many Arabian countries aswell as was exported in limited quantity to Pakistan. Well the last one which is being shown from Germany is Corolla,s compact edition which is called Corolla Runx.Now the reason for this variey is that they produce things according to the demand of the market like in Pakistan nowadays european style is appreacited therefore it was introduced for Japanese style lovers it was exported in limited quality.This is a fact that Toyota is the only Manufacturer in the world which gives importence to the likings and the dislikings of the people and produce things according to the culture and appriciation of the people.

Personally i feel that the Corolla shape sold in Pakistan is better than the shape sold in Europe or Middle East. An Arab friend of mine also commented that our shape is better than the 1 sold in his country. The USA being the biggest car market in the world also has this shape, so i would ask the question again. Y are there different shapes in different areas? If the shape sold here is better y are some markets getting a shape which is less attractive? Safety and engine or body options are points which are debatable but not impossible to implement in any shape. So can any1 reply?

Ok ask ur friend about the likings of Arabs.ur friend is a Pakistani therefore this model was introduced in Pakistan not in Arab.try to understand what i said.secondly in Saudi Arabia only Camry is produces therfore this model was exported from Japan.i like the japanese model bcoz it has a strong Japanese style in it everlike the traditions of Corolla.

In the whole of Middle East, the Japanese version of Corolla is sold.
Toyota didn't export the Japanese Corolla in limited numbers to Pakistan to cater to the customers having Japanese taste, as dharjava said.
In fact the few Japanese shape Corollas that we see on the roads have been imported in Pakistan as used cars by individuals and dealers under the transfer of residence and gift schemes. It has nothing to do with the policy of Toyota, because Indus Motors are the sole distributors and progrssive manufacturers of Toyota vehicles in Pakistan.

Dharjava my friend is an Arab not a Pakistani and he likes the shape sold in Pakistan. I'm just giving u an arabs opinion of the corolla. Plus if u look at the model sold in the UK which is also JDM u will see it is a bit dull as compared to our model. The real lights are vertically set and the front is very conventional. Our model is radically designed with artistic rear light cluster and an aggressive front end. The main body is almost the same. So again y the duller shape for some areas?
