heck - you will even see 1KD being thrown out for 1KZ. - because "ustaad kehta hai ke behtarr hai"
then you see hz ustaad rehamtullah alehe putting extra washers under head bolts of these 1KZ because "jenyan bolt hain" - while overlooking the fact that they are torque to yeild loss bolts. (meaning one time use only)
mercedes CDI diesel are globally famous for intergalactic mileage and extremely good fuel mileage - but in Pakistan its failed because hz ustaad RA - cannot understand or start to diagnose actual problems.. (they wont even have the correct tools to start with) - I have seen quite a lot of CDI injectors damaged while removing because the mechanics didnt want to buy or make the correct slide hammer which pulls the injectors out.
then the famous - injen beck maar raha hai - ring sleeve dalwalo... lathe guy installs the sleeves with epoxy and sets clearance too tight to pistons - once the engine reaches normal temperature - it siezes. Then hz ustaad says - engine purana hai thermastate vaal nikal do ye thanday ilaqay ke liye hai.
I havent even started on the engine oils yet, I have seen people put in SAE 50 oil into 1KD toyota and wonder why it wont start and why its crank is rattling after 10,000 kms
and so goes the story.
