Hi, You know we should also gave some praise to the government. Becuase unlike us govenrment have to care for the whole population not just for a few filthy rich. You know there has been a constant price hike in international oil prices. Where as in Pakistan, price ahs been maintained, thorugh subsidies, thus taking substantial losses. But as a result prices of comodities, vegetable, poultry which need oil for transportation of themselves as well as their raw materials has been maintained. Now think, those who are rich and can afford to bring in those big 3l or 4 l cars to pakistan. Can pretty much make the government bunkrupt in a few months, if even the current oil subsidy rate is maintained. If subsidy is removed, all sort of chaos will result, even flour will be so costly that wide spread shortage will be caused. And the end result of this chain of events would be that, those who bought 3 or 4l will be forced to park their car in garages in pakistan, or take then back to the place where they came from. What I would like to see is honda offering civic and accord hybrid in pakistan. That will result in great saving for the countary, indiviual and also will have a positive effect on economy and environment. So I am with govt that even more heavy taxes should be placed on those expensive fuel guzzling, mercs, beamers and other performance and luxury cars. Instead the introduction of hybrid cars in local market should be encouraged
