Why my car honda civic 2006 abs active to early

I have problem with my honda civic 2006 .When ever i press the brake the abs active on less speed and car skid on 20 KM/H. I have change the brake pad but problem is there. If i am driving on 40 km/h and press the brake the will not stop at the same spot and it skid and stop after 10 or 15 feets. Can anyone explain the issue.

How hard do u press the the brakes?
Wht do u mean by Skids?

Check your tires. And don’t press brake pedal like a maniac.

check rear disc pads
poor discs at rear
shift load to the front of the car and brake lock engages

( considering your tires and tire pressure is ok)

Clear sign of weak survoy cylinder... Once it gets weak people adjust it to max level & it engages abs early... Facing same problem & bought a new survoy cylinder. Now it's perfect
