Why not Buy Ciaz?

PS would discontinue Ciaz only if the company had the plan to launch it in local market. They plan to come up with Alto next year by discontinuing Mehran.
So, this point (about doscontinuing) doesnt seem valid to me.

Buy the car with your heart and choice, not only with your mind. Getting into technical details is necessary, but if you like an item and can afford it, just go for it!
I personally love Ciaz so much and just dont care about its resale after 3 or 5 years. Yes I looked into its engine, expected max. performance and related features. But I dont care about its resale.
Yes @ a price of Rs. 2 million, I would at least expect alloy rims, controls on steering, back cam and fog lamps. But it hurt me a lot when I compared locally assembled Xli (auto) which comes @ a price of Rs. 21.2 million. Xli was a nightmare, although its resale is excellent.

This may be a concern. Yet everyone knows the maintenance cost of Corolla and Civic/City if you go for a dealership service.

The ciaz has am extremely serious issue with it amd I forgot what it was. Saw a review of it when it was first launched, something with the safety or I don't remember what was it. It looked like a good car but when i read it was so disappointed.

You can bet that the below all that shiny exterior would be cheap parts and unreliable engine or transmission or something else the issue. Suzuki is known for this.

And you can't compare a corolla with suzuki lol. Corollas are made for reliability and extremely good ride quality for desi roads, ciaz wouldn't even come close is my bet having experienced baleno and liana.

I suggest watching several review videos on it. You can find a lot about the car.

First of all you’ve got to drive Ciaz to decide whether to buy or not. I preferred it over Honda city aspire. You r right that it does not have leather seats , but Ciaz seats are definitely comfortable than city , it has proper immobilizer with alarm , front air bags, softer suspension , and engine does not feel like it’s a 1.4 liter car , feels more powerful and quiter engine than competitors. 3 S dealers are all around for the regular service and parts. And to top it off it has roomiest cabin and trunk space among its competitors.

Ciaz at our home is now 60,000km driven without a single issue, we have city and corolla also. Ciaz is definitely better than city. Suspension is soft, ride quality is very good, seats are comfortable and the best part is cabin quietness. City dont even has an airbag, noisy cabin and stiff suspension. Most of the peole here did not even sit in ciaz and commenting about it, yes it has suzuki badge and bad resale but if ones concern is comfortable drive than its better than GLI and city anyday.
And one more thing, its fuel exonomy is extra ordinary, 14-15 kmpl in lahore, 20-21 on higway at 100kph and 17-18 on motorway at 120kph.

Powerfull yes. Kahan se powerful nai hai. Its plain old common sense buddy 1.4 > 1.3 and aap engine number ja k check karain. Go to google and search hp and torque of the very same engine takay apko kuch idea ho.

Premium brand. Matlab k agar Toyota Mehran type shit bechay aap le lo gay 15 lac mein . Nice solid point

As for the more features, city and gli mein konsa mercedez walay features hain. So aribags apke liye feature nai i guess which is the most important thing for a sensible person.

Ciaz is a comfortable car compared to City which has a very hard and poor suspension.

India, Thailand, Indonesia, places where the auto segment is better and Management of Suzuki is better (Providing locally made parts etc . Having proper after sales support)
