Why not Buy Ciaz?

After seeing all options(Toyota Gli, Honda City, Suzuki Ciaz) available now in market Suzuki Ciaz seems best option to me. Please tell me why I shouldn't buy this car?

Please tell pros and cons. Thanks

Suzuki is not liable to provide any after sales support for imported units.

Seen it happen.

Most likely it will get discontinued in Pakistan anyways.

Resale, and Suzuki Badge, are the 02 most obvious factors, otherwise, gari mein koi issue nai hai. Yei agar Honda ya Toyota ney launch ki hoti, log dharra dharr ley laitay.

If Pak Suzuki discontinues it, then isska Walli Waris Koi nai hona, and will meet the same fate as of LIANA.

Most important Pro, it's the most fuel efficient car in its league (in comparison to City, XLI / GLI, etc.), comes with K14B and as CBU, aur kya chaheye?

Ciaz is excellent car very fuel efficient..far better then rollas..if resale is not your concern then buy.

Resale and build quality. Multiple alignment issues. Cheap parts used.

do not compare it with Liana please - liana was locally manufactured and sold around 20k units in Pakistan. each and everything is available in market in abundance at low prices - Ciaz will never hit 20k sales figure as the few units imported are still unsold in showrooms and Suzuki seems zero concerned to promote this car.

Ciaz beats Honda city any day. Built quality, fuel economy and power. Reasons of less sale are already mentioned above.

I meant its a far better car than the local city.

FYI, Ciaz engine produces 95 PS (70 kW; 94 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 130 N⋅m (96 lbf⋅ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm.
City - Power: 88 kW (118 hp) / 6,600 rpmTorque: 145 N⋅m (107 lb⋅ft) / 4,800 rpm

Now just don't go on numbers, check both cars on road and you will feel the power of ciaz. I own a Honda City 2018 Aspire P/T and a swift(new shape) with Ciaz's engine(k12b with 5hp less), the swift is a pocket rocket.

Ciaz is way way better than Gli or City in almost everything lekin issue end pe wohi hai resale which everyone wants and not a good car.

The built quality and drive may be good. but the looks are not so great imo. would have bought it if it looked better than a corolla or a city.

most suzuki authorized dealerships do not have it. They are waiting till the next lot of Ciaz are imported.

@coachbef still - Paksuzuki doesnt seem interested in promoting or selling this car. i work in insurance and once was seeing a claim of a Ciaz - just a stupid wheel cap of plastic was of Rs.5500/- and that too only available with dealership - so just think yourself kya hoga baqi parts ka - price and availability both.

Gli wheel cap costs 1800 rs single from dealership.

City full option 1.5 costs more than 2.2milion(on road price with registration and tax) now compare it with Ciaz Auto price.
Ciaz got airbags in lesser price. City does not even have a all lock button, it is so annoying when you have to lock all doors with driver side lock.
Ciaz is more economical, City 1.5 auto does not give more than 11.5 in city driving.

About numbers, I got swift 1.2 K12b CVT it hardly got 90hp, a 1.5 exi or 1.3 Auto City 2018 is a no match to it. Its that quick. Suzuki K series is fast, believe me on that.
