it looks really cool. maybe this particular model is good. if you like the sound then keep it and dont listen to others. looks really very cool. how much have you paid for it.

Ya I know it looks and feels to be top notch. I heard that it sounds really well too. I hope it does. My brother went abroad and got it for me along with Xplod USB drive. I think it costed him about Rs.8500 with 512MB Xplod USB drive.

Really strange to hear the stuff about Sony Explode. I am one satisfied soul on the planet I think after reading the posts and anyone who sits in my car praises the quality of sound. Using Sony pre and speaker in the rear dash for the last three years, in January added a Bochmann amp and 12 inch Kenwood, but, Explode speaker perform even better on amp.

I thought Clarions were good, till I heard an Alpine.

To me Pioneer speakers were good, till I got a taste of Infinity.

I thought them cerwin vegas were loud, till I got hold of a Kicker.

Yea Clarions arent bad at all. I like them actually.

For someone looking for light soothing type music, Clarions are very good.

But Alpines are one step ahead.

I thought Pioneer and Kenwood were good too, till I got a Clarion

Now all I need is an Eclipse HU haha

@ahsan cerwin vega is waaaay more louder thn da kicker , kicker isnt shit infront of cerwin vega pro stroker 15 and kickers cant even hit da lows still dont beleive me watch dis video and note da trunk was open

CV VMAX cant do anything to L5.

L7 12" is one of the best 12" subwoofers for SPL, period. I dont say that, judges of major SPL competitions say that.

As for hitting low, I guess you havent heard of the SoloX 18".

There was a reason I said Kicker is better than CV ... not everyone can afford a Stroker pro. But many can buy a L5 or CompVR. Most people after louder systems can afford L7s too. Stroker Pros and SoloXs are very expensive.

Also, audio is personal preference.

what are 'component' speakers????? if i were to buy one music system, just a cd/mp3 player with two speakers at the back, without any amps and woofer, at the same time i need best possible bass, what shud i go for????? price ideas will also help

No amps ... no bass.

You cant expect your headunit which makes 20watts RMS for every speaker to give you bass.

Try getting an amplifier, else any speaker you buy cant be played at its proper power level. Unless you buy a teeny weeeny 4" round one

Now coming again to my disscussion. I am finally going in the search of speakers now. The Alpine S series ones I told you about. Now the round speakers are said to be 6 1/2". The will fit in the front doors of my Vitz 2004 right???

Otherwise there is also an 5 1/4" size. Which one should I look for?
Plz tell as soon as possible.

Not 100% sure since ive never changed one in a Vitz, but as I last recall seeing someones install (not in Pakistan) it was 6 1/2"

Plus I remember that components can fit in there, as it was one of the options my friend had when installing speakers.
