Why "rent a car" is shady

Aoa,
I have a simple question about people around here.
Whenever I get asked what I do for living the answer is "I have a car company" to spare time instead of explaining everybody-

People often add then "like a rent a car?"

Whats wrong with a rent a car? People use is to devalue other peoples business but I have no idea why.
Is a Rent A Car one of the shady businesses?
Ive seen some shady rent a car at some corners but still can't get through. I mean: aren't there good or awesome ones?

WAS, rent a car is not shady rather pakistani mentality is shady. Hard work is considered a shame but haraam is honorably practised. To pakistanis online business is only limited to Amazon.com. Long way for them to reach true maturity as they dont grow but only expand. If you show them their fault in the mirror they prefer to change the mirror. I am specifically referring to resident pakistanis. If anyone is offended then i must congratulate you coz your conscience is alive.

car rental without driver is serious gamble in Pakistan. non-taxed monies are parked in such business there fore vehicle documents and ownership is not of any 'actual car rental company'. Maintenance is a subject not known to such car rentals. Insurance is only over paper for traffic police satisfaction.
