That depends on the price Honda sets for 6th gen City. If it's priced well (for example only up to 100,000 more than price of existing 5th gen City) then there will be price reduction of used older model.
Additionally, there will be plenty of Honda City lovers who will sell their existing 5th gen City to buy the newer 6th gen City. That'll increase supply of 5th gen used Honda City in the market which in turn can result in reduction in prices of used cars as well.
Demand for 5th gen used cars will also decrease as people who currently spend more than 2 million for buying slightly used 5th gen City as it was still the latest model and same as the car being sold new by Honda, won't do that anymore and might prefer to spend a bit more to buy newer model instead.
All these factors in my opinion signify that prices of used 5th gen Honda City will decrease. It may not be an overnight shift and might be a gradual process (also depending on supply constraints of newer model).
However, IF price of newer model of Honda City is significantly more than the current price of 5th gen then it may very well have reverse effect and prices of used 5th gen may even increase (unlikely in my opinion, but always a possibility given how much prices are increased by car companies in Pakistan).
