Aoa,
Been to Lahore, Isb and Murree last week. Had vacations for a week just and had to travel with my infant. Below is the itinerary while pics will be posted soon 
21st Dec- Day 1
Karachi to Sahiwal Train boarded at 10:00 pm. Khyber mail business class seats costs 2560 from khi to Sahiwal. Purpose was meeting maternal grandparents.
22nd Dec- Day 2
Reached Sahiwal at 6:00 pm (right time of train was 4:30) Thank God it wasnt that foggy that day. Overall travelling experience after years in train was good. Dinning car food is a bit expensive but not bad. Compartments were clean and wash rooms had water all the time.
23rd Dec- Day 3
Left Sahiwal for Lahore at around 12 or 1 pm. Hired a corolla in 7000 for the day to explore Lahore but the plan was ruined as the monuments were shut down for public entry coz of Turkish PM's visit. Dil toot gaya..... 
Roam around fortress stadium after getting stuck in traffic during VVIP movement. Rawalpindi will be having curfew the next day, so we decided to leave Lahore and travel during the night. The aim was to reach pindi before curfew or Chehlum processions. Boarded faisal movers bus for pindi at 11:45 and reached pindi in 4 hours.
24th dec- Day 4
Reached pindi early morning and stayed at Faisal movers faizabad terminal till 6am so that the driver can come & pick us up. Rented a car with driver for next few days already on phone via a friend. Reached Murree at 8 am. Checked in at Butt tourist Inn behind lalazar hotel. after bargain costs 10k for 3 days and includes a room with double bed, a single mattress, hot water and central heating. ( we were 4 family members with an infant)
Had breakfast in the room. Took rest and left room for Ayubia at 11am. ( himmat dekhain) Nathia gali was v snowy so does Ayubia. Damn cold with fresh snow. Had coffee there and witness live snow fall too. Awesome weather.
Reached Hotel in the evening. Dinner at mall road red onion. Food was OK and its pricey. They all are charging 20% as service charges which is steep and strange.
25th Dec- Day 5
Been to Patriata till 1 am then decided to visit Islamabad as we have to book tickets for return journey. Had lucnh in Melody food street which offers a variety of good food at economical prices. visited Railway reservation centre but couldn't find a train with suitable leaving time from pindi so dump the idea and decided to go by air. Went to Daman e koh and then peer soaha, had coffee at monal which was just OK. ordered 14th street pizza and picked it up as a take away on our journey back to Murree. Reached Murree at night.
26th of Dec- Day 6
Visisted Kashmir point at 11 am. Had tour of TDCP safari train in 100 Rs per head as ticket. was good. Left for Neelum point form there and had lunch at Neelum. over priced and not so good food there. Fake trout in 1600 rupees per kg. View of the point has been destroyed with all the charpais and chairs.
Reached Murree in the evening. Shopping at mall road. Dinner at Takht bai chapal kebabs and coffee at lintot. Both were economical and good. Got online ticket reservation for Air indus done.
27th Dec- Day7
Checked out hotel at 11:30 am and leave for Isb. reached Lake view park and roam around its beautiful bird aviary for an hour or two. Visited travel agency in Jinnah avenue to get hard copy of tickets and payments.Costs 11k+ per head. Then to aabpara market to buy an extra bag for gifts we had. Moved to Monal for lunch. Amazing food and view there. Highly recommended. At 6 pm reached Faisal mosque and explored it. It was splendid architecture. reached airport at 8pm to board air indus flight of 9:45 pm. Landed Karachi airport at 12:05 am.
