Great to know. Did the camps drip on you at anytime?

the drops were the internal moisture that was condensing on the walls... otherwise the camp is waterproof

I think Tauqeer is busy with his new job so I will try to upload the pictures of this trip here....

Initially there were 6 members for the Mukshpuri top... Three were coming from Islamabad (Me, Tauqeer and Usman) and three from Abbotabad (Nadir Khan, Khurram Rajpoot and another of their friend). But when we reached Dunga Gali we came to knew that Nadir is coming alone from Abbotabad.
We reached Dunga Gali at 10:30 sharp and we went to Amore Hotel for tea and also avail their rest room. We spent almost 2 hours there as we prepared our luggage and also were waiting for Nadir to arrive.

At about 12:30 we started our trek from Dunga Gali. The first 1.5KM is an ascending metaled road.

Our team fully prepared and fully loaded for the hike.... This is at the start of the 1.5KM trek on the metaled road.

After the 1.5km trek on the metaled road the proper trek starts... In Summer time it takes roughly 45-60 minutes from this point to reach the top but in snow it took us much much more.....

The level of snow can be judged by the amount on snow on the bench. Please note that this bench was under the shadow of umbrella.

Very soon the snowfall hit us hard.... It snowed for at least 2 hours...

Finally after 5 hours of almost continuous trekking we reached the top of Mukshpuri. We decided to erect our camps just a little bit below of the top in a gully where we will be safe from the blowing wind.....

After 15-20 minutes effort we were able to press the snow (By walking on it) and make a smooth surface for our camp. Then we erected the two camps....
