Wish to choose correct type of CNG Kit

Hi ,
I have Toyota Corolla GLi 1300cc , model 2011 car, and wish to install CNG kit in it.

Upon talking to a few people, I came to know of three types of CNG kits available :
a. Without Lambada
b. With Lambada
c. Sequential kit.

I am not interested in " Without Lambada" kit. So am left with 2 options "b" and "c" to choose from.

Please advise which of these 2 kits has better performance, and longer life ? In the past Toyota had launched its EcoTec models with factory installed kits too, what type of kits did those EcoTec models had ?

Dear my advice don,t go for CNG as CNG days are off because LPG has been launched in many cities and government has raised CNG price way to high and very soon CNG is going 2 b 100rs/kg and also LPG is cheaper and less harmful 4 ur car
so dear w8 for a while very soon it will b clear that LPG is future fuel

Further will you be able to get full benefit of Rs 60k spent on cng kit? Have u done any calculations?

I again come back to my basic question :
whats the difference in between CNG Lambada kit, and CNG Sequential kit ? Further, I like to know opinions of people using any of the above two in their cars ( specially with ref to Corolla 1.3 GLi car ) ?

Millions has already been invested on LPG. PSO has given the contract to install LPG station everwhere in the country and some LPG station are installed in big cities.
DEAR this is politics they earned a looooot of money from CNG and now they are not getting much from it so they came with better option LPG and will start earning huge bucks once again and they don,t want to ruin there investment that,s y they raised the price of CNG so high and began to import LPG kits and cylinder and soon they will force u to shift to LPG
Its ur car ur money u can do what ever u want we r just helpers

i think pakistani,s will use CNG cylinder for LPG filling and KIT will be changed only

(comes without dancing shoes, just kidding; it's "lambda" not the latin sex-you-up dance style)
b. With Lambada
lambda system just adds two additional parts on a regular efi kit; an oxygen/exhaust sensor (installed in the exhaust system) and a motorized gas-flow regulator that receives signals from the ecu and oxygen/exhaust sensor to then adjust the gas flow volume via stepper motor (sort of like the one hooked up to your inkjet printer tractor rail). this saves you from having to adjust the gas-flow regulator manually for optimal flow volume. you get a slight boost in performance (albeit at a higher initial installation price), economy and the peace of mind that you're not at the mercy of billu bhai messing around with your kit and your car.
c. Sequential kit.
just means that instead of a single nozzle dispensing gas into your air intake to mix which gets sucked into all the combustion chambers you have separate nozzles feeding gas (usually through dosing tubes passed through the exhaust header) into each individual combustion chamber. this does give you better fuel economy, but it can also do some very strange and frightening things with your vti system. for example the notorious backfires that fry your air filter and air filter housing are due to cng being fed into the engine head and into the non-firing chamber when the vti exhaust cycle opens a valve and inadvertently sucks in a charge of cng and air, and then sucks in another charge of cng and air when it's that particular chamber's turn to combust. you have a double charge of cng+air so you get a much bigger bang than expected. this then feeds back through the head and up the air intake to fry said air filter and sometimes explode the air filter housing. in theory the sequential/rail system should work better but the vti engineers obviously didn't talk to the sis engineers so the systems don't integrate well with each other. if you do get the sis/rail kit be sure to grill the installer on said issue and or even better ask for a 2-3 references so you can talk to them and ask them how their installations turned out.

imc ecotecs have a sis/rail kit. i don't have any personal experience with those cars so won't give an opinion.

That millions of dollars investment will not be wasted, the CNG pumps will be converted into LPG filling stations. The gas shortage is there, otherwise there was no need of Pak Iran gas agreement.

Btw the choice is yours, it is some sort of gambling ATM.

USA has recently become the worlds largest CNG promoter and the US government is throwing out billion of dollars to promote CNG use in their country. Any sensible human being will realize that the most advance'd nation in this world is adopting CNG and in our country people only speak out of their ignorance and illiteracy. Government will be gone soon and LGP will remain hanging in the middle forever, it is only a publicity stunt and nothing more. No one can develop LPG infrastructure in the country in 8 months.

Please support CNG and resist the government's move to raise CNG prices, CNG is produced in our own country and should be TAX FREE!! Please resist the oil companies who are forcing and bribing mr 10% to deprive us from a cheap fuel locally produced!!

Do not hurry - buy simple petrol veriant & spend about 55000 more for a landi renzo LPG kit with a 55 litre capsule tank in trunk for LPG.

55 litre LPG will give you endurance of 400+ km in single fill (at current rate Rs. 51.35 / litre) saving you from frequenting to CNG stations. By Dec 2012 there will be 15 LPG stations in Lahore, 18 in Karachi, & 9 in Islamabad 8 in Peshawer - PSO & Shell stationS dispensing LPG are not in this count. (Source SSGC - LPG project Manager)

i think pakistani,s will use CNG cylinder for LPG filling and KIT will be changed only

CNG cylinder can not be used for LPG. The LPG cylinder is light weight as a almunium water tank you see at wedding / niaaz tents for hand-wash but Ogra approved with 3% risk of fire. The LPG stand for LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS blast happens in case of compression

by introducing CNG to transport sector the gas reserves depleted at 1500 times faster then projection done in year 1995.

USE Google search ' Pakistan gas reserves in 1995 ' project was at current rate of consumption (in 1995) by Industrial & Domestic sector the gas reserves were enough for 2025.

Come CNG for transport boom in 1997, afterwards mega boom in 2003 onwards the reserves depleted at hyper speed demand exceeded 30 times the production and result is we all know.

Industries are closed and transport sector is suffering for gas load shedding.

do some maths - in 1995 a 2 canal household in Islamabad during winters consumed gas worth Rs. 1300 - Now 2011 winter it was 4700.

where as 1 mazda mini-bus consume Rs. 2700 worth CNG from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm per day.

The national LOSS, unemployment due to industry closure, depletion of gas reserves is due poor planning & wrong permission of CNG for use by transport sector.

LNG & LPG should have been launched 20 years back.

What does this scarcity means? If the gas is not explored and / or extracted for its intended use, it is said to be gas shortage isn't?
