Is it possible to install woofer without an amplifier?? with the new head units having three outputs, one for woofer? 50w max output???
yes, get a powered sub.
^ u Know abt Audio too??..
me? oh, i am just learning about audio since past 37 years.
powered sub?? never heard of it. can u please tell whether it is easily available in market. what brands?? i was asking about pioneer kenwood stuff. do they work. even if not so loud.
subwoofer output means a separate subwoofer level control in headunit.
yea i know about that.can u tell me which woofers i can install models and avaialbility???
han yar koi apna 10" ka woofer aur 718 speakers bechan chahtay hain ya koi aur company kay speakers to plz rply and infrm me latest
you can even use yr home stereo sub woofer, just match amperes required when converting 220v to 12v.
acha yay batao kay 8ohns ka woofer amp par chalta hai ya nahein.
a Powered sub would be one having a built-in amplifier ( just a wild guess ) .. no a woofer wouldnt work without an amp .. even if it does then No output .. because a built in amp in a player is not even sufficient to drive the speakers ..
hi wanted to know how to connect the home 2.1 woofer to your car .can u breifly explain with circuit diagrams reply at farrukh_2cool@hotmail.com
@Retaliatorwell mate there are a few HeadUnits like Pioneer that support the direct connection of a Sub-Woofer(@2ohms x 50watts)so basically u drive ur main speakers on the Front Speakers n then connect the sub to the Left Rear Speaker outputs(also mentioned in the owners Manual)the sound wouldnt be too much...but u will definitely feel the bass...gud luk
The question didnt come clear. It sounded more like your trying to run a woofer without amp.
That's way i suggested built-in
woofer/amp/enclosure all in one.
