i remember in 1988 i was living a small wooden room in upper story wooden house, room was slightly bigger than car cabin
i bought a good cd player , good sounding amp and small metal box speakers with 4" drivers. the smallest good sounding speakers i have kept. i placed them on both sides of bed and used to listen to original cd in my free time, i got refined bass and clear vocals and treble at flat tone controls without loudness etc
trick was too use right size of speakers for particular listening envoirment to have closet match to envoirment actual music was recorded.
grt sound reproducion even in bass comes from matching drivers to listening envoirment and no 2 envoirments are same .- so why 2 different speakers should sound best in same place?
