Worth buying c180 2008

hehe fuel economy worries you, civic 1.8 eats more fuel then Mercedes C180/C200. Maintenance can be nightmare if it wasn't in good hands before or the regular maintenance if car was looked after with dealership records.

RUN FROM THAT CAR, Its pending maintenance is going to drop on you like a nightmare. Unless the owner wants to discount all the prices and amounts of the missing maintenance then its a deal (wont happen though)

Clean w204 is at least 4 million.. and face uplift model is 5.5
It does not come under 3 and for 3 million you will get a fishy deal.
Better drop the idea

Fuel average is about 8-9km/l within city and on highway it does 13-15km/l depending upon speed.
The price of a clean 2007-2008 is 35+-3lacs. The ones being offered near 3M mark are not worth buying.

I dont know about 2008 or new models but i drove E200 2005 which had 1.8L engine and was quiet efficient in terms of fuel and comfort was good, and my friend drove that car for about 160k km and no major replacement was done. Try to get a low mileage one with dealership records never go for MB or BMW w/o dealership records because these cars can sometimes be worst nightmare for owners in terms of maintenance.

I have exactly the same car in my garage. Its a late 2007 Mercedes Benz C180 (W204) Kompressor Elegance with the optional full COMMAND navigation unit. Here's my review on it.....

I've had it for over a month now. All of its maintenance had been done previously so no worries for me. I only had to change the coolant and brake pads. The brake pads cost me Rs. 20,000, the coolant Rs. 5000 plus Rs. 5000 for the labor fee (Rs. 30,000, total). I got all of this from Shanawaz Islamabad. My car was worry-free from the start; it had a proper, complete and reliable maintenance record. The previous owner even gave me all the previous parts, labor etc receipts. Regarding fuel economy, I also have a 1.6L Manual Civic in the garage. Believe me, my Mercedes Benz is more economical than any Corolla or Civic any day. I use comfort mode mostly but sometimes, very rarely I do put it in sport. It gives me between 9-11 kpl usually (sometimes even 12-13 kpl) in city driving with the "heater" on (no AC usage in this weather). By city, I mean DHA 2, Islamabad. On the highway, it gives me between 11-15 kpl. FUEL ECONOMY TOTALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR DRIVING STYLE I use full time hi-octane but I am planning to use both petrol and hi-octane mixed. Road grip and handling is phenomenal! Awesome acceleration in sport mode! It evens gives some serious slippage when you turn off ESP, put it in sport and floor it! Regarding some more information on maintenance, oil change+spark-plugs+air-filter+oil -filter+labor cost= Rs. 35,000, the previous owner got all of that done from Shanawaz. Maintenance costs are not that high considering the time-interval of each part, like for how long after you've got to change or replace it Its an awesome car by all means

He doesn't let me drive it to school, lol He only lets me drive in DHA 2, I only drive on the highway when he is around.

Hi I have just bought over from england two c180 1.6 one is
C180 1.6 executive the other c180 amg plus also 1.6
Right full tank 5000 rupees lahore motorway to islamabad 140 / 160 kmph
Then Gt road to Jhelum next day back to islamabad
Still had just under quarter of a tank off fuel
So in my opinion the 1.6 L facelift model is very good on fuel better then a corolla.
