when you push the caliper pistons back into their bores, connect a pipe and container to the bleed nipple and collect the nasty one in it. No need to push it into the system.

why is your brake rubber pipe twisted? it will block out flow.
All new calipers too.
But you are correct, when I put new pads in old calipers, I open the bleeder first so the cruddy fluid is pushed out instead of into the lines.
Twisted? Nope. It just looks like it.

The Corvette had its first problem today, it refused to start.
A new battery solved it. The original battery lasted eight hard years in service. $132 and five minutes. All fixed!

I will get it back tomorrow when the old battery is returned for recycling.
