Wrong Color mentioned on the Smart Card

Hi All,

I recently purchased a Daihatsu Move and realized that the color mentioned in the Smart Card was wrong. The car is Pearl White in color whereas the card says Navy Blue. Does any one have any idea on how to get this changed or what procedure I should follow?

Heard for the first time anything like that, maybe the car is fully showered (Pearl White) or something like that, otherwise, it is hardly possible that the color of the car is written wrong on the smart card.

IMO, you need to contact / visit the relevant excise and taxation office, for resolution of this issue.

I am quite hopeful that some details will be mentioned on relevant excise and taxation department website. Please check, and if you do not get answer to your query, then you may visit the office with relevant docs, all details, etc., and apply for change in vehicle's particulars. I think, some fees may be there for rectification of the issue.

Still, relevant excise and taxation office can guide you best in this regard.

I faced the same issue with my civic 14. It was silver but the color mentioned on the vehicle verification site was white. I didn't change it but heard that go to the excise and they'll change it for you.

happened with me once when i bought a motorcycle and although i went myself for the registration and it was clearly written black on papers, when the book came it had red mentioned as its color. But i didnt change it and the motorcycle was sold later. The buyer didnt make a fuss either.

This is a common mistake in E&T. Visit their office and get it corrected, you can find correct color of your car from car file.

Oh ok sorry sorry actually mai road prince ki wego purchase krne jarha hun tou us bike mai same issue hai k documents pe red likha hai but actual mai bike black hai and invoice pe bhi black hai i was worried k koi major issue na muje laga you were the first owner of that black because aese cases kafi rare hote hain
