sorry for an of topic query but how do they get the price???amount of transaction when the vehicle was last transferred between two parties ???

@umar_pathan - the mtmis website and the sms service are not working. was at the e&t office this week, apparently both services are down as per the officials there.

i would recommend you pay them a visit personally. in my experience it is imperative we check the records at the office personally prior to our transactions. its a common practice of people here to lie and with draw information in order to ensure a sale. confirm the record with your own eyes!

should the website be stating no record most likely there is something dodgey! i say this based on my personal experience. once bitten twice shy!

i dont think you need to worry much, my family's Santro was also displayed as a Shehzore about a year ago or so but when i checked few months back it was automatically corrected.

I think you could contact PITB or goto the regional taxation department for confirmation

i have a new car registered on my name. i am the first owner. MTMIS website shows my name but the spelling are not correct. what should i do. Emails have no response. and i have still not recieved my documents or any sort of card. its been 3 months now

if the engine & frame no is correct at website and the CNIC digits are yours, ignore the spelling mistake. The most important is cnic digits, engine & frame number which makes the difference

I am selling my Suzuki Alto 2006, i just randomly checked the registration on Mtmis, and found that the owner name father name etc is totally changed, it seems like the change happened when the life time token of the car was registered on 2012. Probably a clerical mistake. What should be done in this regard, as we are selling it and now got worried due to this error.

Something similar happened to me as well, I paid my token online and visited mtmis punjab to see any updates, what I found was some vehicle correction type of application ongoing on my vehicle while I didnt apply for any,
Also the vehicle was transferred on my own name and I collected the card as well few months ago.
