Hello, PWer's

I am looking for a set of 205/40/17 tyres but apparently everywhere in islamabad and pindi they are saying that this particular size is short.. If anyone knows of any shop or anything please let me know . Or if someone is selling them used but need to be in excellent condition.. I prefer new ones though

Any help would be appreciated.

RIght , thats quite something.... how are they so cheap?? Only problem is dont have any experience with these chinese tyres so dont know how reliable they are or not...

Anyways, i guess the only way is to go look in peshawar, cause atleast i know they are selling em there... dont know why 205's are short all of a sudden

i have tried to find out in peshwar too nothing there

atleast not in the main shops new are costing 7500 each

i m looking for 195 for 205

the ones in lahore are on a pump they looked pretty finihsed and i though 15 for them was too much

plus 40 profile gives bubble in the tyre so i m looking for 50 or 45 profile

U can get cheap tyres from the market near Railway station. Almost a year back i got a pair in pretty gud condition for 5k. They were 215/45.

All these shopkeepers have to say is "Sir jee tyre short hogya hai" seems like everytime one needs something its short.... Anyways has anyone heard of silverstone tyres?? they are malaysian and are available in pindi,but yokohamas are selling for 9500 while silverstone for about 7500...

Finally found them in pindi sadar!! 205/45/17 and also 205/40/17 were available,, its some indonesian tyre but its extremely soft i mean the ride is now so smooth and no road noise at all, even though they are 17 inches.... Anyone else looking for the same size can go there. i got the 205/45/17 which cost me 8500 per tyre, while the 205/40/17 was more expensive for some reason for about 9200 per tyre

plus most tyres dont come with guarantees now and this one has i think a years guarantee plus they are march 2010 manufactured.

thats alot of money for an indonesian tyre but since they're not available in the market ,they can ask whatever they want

I know ur right , but one guy said he could get me nexens in 5-6 days for 11,500 per tyre!!!!!! so you can just imagine the tyre prices i swear in pakistan its like a freakin mafia... everytime something is short they raise the prices like crazy... sadar pindi and the name of the shop is Abid tyres.. but to be honest forget that its indonesian cause im really happy with the smoothness of the ride and its a very soft tyre indeed they only have these ones at the moment . didnt have yokos
